1) YOU DON’T CHECK DATES ON THE NEWLY SUPPLIED GOODS!

Don’t be too lazy to check dates on what they’re supplying for you, most suppliers are heartless. They will supply almost expired goods or already expired goods to you, if you’re not careful

2) YOU DON’T STACK YOUR DRINKS ON PALLETS!

This can greatly affect your soft drinks, you can get pallets at the nearest sawmill in your area. Do this and have peace of mind!

3) YOU DO NOT FOLLOW “FIFO” RULE!

That is, first in first out. Make sure you sell out old drinks before you start selling new ones. When you’re restocking, stock old goods separately and new goods separately as well to avoid mix up.

Don’t sell out of pity to anyone, no matter how touching their story may sound. Money for hand market for ground!

2) NOT TAKING STOCK REGULARLY!

Many business owners are lazy, thereby taking stock become an issue for them. As a business owner, make sure you have a book where you write newly purchased goods, cost selling lprice and expected profit. These would guide you on how to save. I will be writing more on this particular one later.

3) SORTING PERSONAL BILLS FROM BUSINESS MONEY!

If you want your business to grow, have a separate account for your business and another account for your personal need. Do not mix the two accounts together, also endeavour to pay immediately if you’re taking from what you’re selling.

If i would be starting soft drink business as a wholesaler today, these are the first 3 things I would do after getting a shop👇🏻

1) i would make my research on the water that is moving in that area and invest 70% of my capital on it

2) I would make research on the kind of soft drink that is moving in that location and start with little of it

3) I will by buying from the distributor in that area to understand the market very well.
