BAKING TIP OF THE DAY!

Making meat pies, sausage rolls or other pastries? Don’t skip the chilling step!

After preparing your pastry dough, allow it to rest in the refrigerator before rolling and baking.

Why? Chilled dough is easier to handle, produces a better texture, and helps reduce excessive shrinking during baking.

If your dough feels too soft or sticky while working with it, don’t keep adding flour. Chill it first!

Small baking adjustments can make a BIG difference.
