Tax reform is no longer just a finance conversation. It is a strategic business priority.

As Nigeria's tax landscape evolves, organisations that understand the reforms, strengthen governance and embrace compliance will be better positioned for long-term competitiveness and sustainable growth.

This was the focus of a panel moderated by our Head of Policy and Public Affairs, Chioma Momah, at the recently concluded NECA Employers' Summit, themed "Leveraging Reforms and ESG for Enterprise Competitiveness and Inclusive National Growth." The discussion brought together experts from government, tax advisory and technology to examine the opportunities presented by the Nigeria Tax Act, alongside the practical realities of implementation.

One message resonated throughout the session: successful implementation will require collaboration between policymakers, businesses and industry stakeholders. Beyond compliance, the reforms present an opportunity for organisations to strengthen governance, build resilience and create long-term value.

At Guinness Nigeria, we are committed to contributing to conversations that shape a more competitive, transparent and sustainable business environment. We were also pleased to engage delegates at the summit through our exhibition stand, showcasing our portfolio of brands while connecting with stakeholders across industries.

Progress is built through dialogue, collaboration and a shared commitment to doing business responsibly.

Water is one of our most important natural resources and a critical ingredient in our products. Protecting water sources and preserving the health of our oceans is therefore a responsibility we take seriously at Guinness Nigeria.

To commemorate World Oceans Day, our employees joined the Food and Beverage Recycling Alliance (FBRA) and other partner organisations for a beach clean-up exercise along the Lagos coastline. Together, we helped remove waste from the shoreline while raising awareness of the importance of responsible waste management and environmental stewardship.

We are proud of the colleagues who volunteered their time and energy to support this initiative, demonstrating the collective action needed to help tackle marine pollution and protect our shared environment.

As we continue our sustainability journey, we remain committed to working with partners, communities, and industry stakeholders to help safeguard our natural resources and build a more sustainable future.

Together, we are helping create healthier ecosystems for generations to come.

Young Nigerians today are reshaping what it means to pursue greatness and at Guinness Nigeria, we’re proud to stand behind them every step of the way.

Through the Every Side of You campaign, Malta Guinness unveiled the largest mosaic in Lagos at Sh*tta Roundabout, Surulere. A bold celebration of creativity, ambition, and the many dimensions of who young Nigerians are.

Co-created with items contributed by youths across Lagos, Kaduna, and Enugu, every piece represents a personal passion, profession, or aspiration. Together, they form a single, powerful expression of diversity, possibility, and the belief that greatness isn't limited to one path or one identity

To everyone doing multiple things, this one's for you. Keep showing up, and keep exploring every side of who you are.

On World Anti-Counterfeiting Day 2026, Guinness Nigeria, in collaboration with the Anti-Counterfeiting Collaboration of Nigeria (ACC), convened regulators, enforcement agencies, industry leaders, and brand owners to discuss emerging threats and solutions for protecting consumers and brands.

The dialogue reinforced a shared commitment to stronger partnerships, innovation, and coordinated action in the fight against counterfeit products.
