Production time planning simply means knowing exactly how long your work will take and scheduling it.
Many business owners struggle not because they are not hardworking but because they don’t plan time properly.
When orders come in, they assume they can finish everything on time… but reality proves otherwise.
And here is where the problem starts:
Many people end up lying to customers when they fail to deliver at the agreed time because the work is not ready.
Once the customer calls to ask for their order, they start saying things like “I’m on my way” or “I’m almost there” when in reality they haven’t even left their shop.
This is not just a small mistake it damages trust.
📌 If you plan your production time properly:
You won’t overbook yourself
You won’t rush jobs
You won’t disappoint customers
And you won’t need to lie to cover delays
🧠 Truth:
👉 Customers don’t just buy your product they buy your reliability
Once trust is broken, it is very hard to rebuild.
So instead of managing excuses, manage your time properly.
💡 Thought:
It is better to tell a customer “this is when I can deliver” and keep your word,
than to promise early delivery and end up explaining delays.
Because in business, truth builds reputation, but lies destroy it quietly.
