What was once rangeland is steadily becoming a productive, managed pasture field, with the emergence of seed heads now signalling the next phase: pasture seed production and multiplication.

At Kaduna Ranch Development Company Ltd. From Seed to Green: Growing a New Future 🌱🐄

Today, the Kaduna Ranch Development Company Ltd. welcomed the KD-LPRES team to the Damau pasture plot at Kubau LGA for a joint monitoring visit, witnessing first-hand the remarkable progress being made in turning land into productive pasture and pasture into opportunity.

Through the support of KD-L-PRES, KRDC is changing the narratives, providing an important foundation for our broader feed and fodder development in line with the Agricultural transformation agenda of H.E Senator Uba Sani the Executive Governor of Kaduna State.

Through KRDC’s own internal efforts and commitment, we are expanding the footprint of pasture development beyond the L-PRES-supported area, because our ambition is bigger than a project. It is about building a sustainable livestock economy.

Every green hectare represents more than grass.
It represents better nutrition for livestock.
It represents higher productivity for dairy farmers.
It represents resilience against feed scarcity.
And ultimately, it represents a stronger and more sustainable livestock value chain for Kaduna State.

We are deeply grateful to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kaduna State for his visionary leadership and unwavering support for the transformation of the livestock sector. His commitment continues to give institutions like KRDC the confidence and space to turn bold ideas into tangible results.
