THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LAWYERS AND BARRISTERS
As a layman, what you need to know about the difference between lawyers and barristers is that a lawyer is a person who has successfully studied law at a university (LLB), while a barrister is a person who has studied law at a university, attended law school, and been called to the bar. Note that all barristers are lawyers, but not all lawyers are barristers.
