Hon. Munir Babba Danagundi Represents Nigeria at High-Level Ministerial Meeting on Rice Self-Sufficiency in Cairo, Egypt 🇪🇬

Rahama Integrated Farms is proud to announce that our Chairman, Hon. Munir Babba Danagundi, participated in the 3rd High-Level Ministerial Meeting on Rice Self-Sufficiency, held from 7th to 9th October 2025 in Cairo, Egypt.

The event, organized by the Egyptian Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation in collaboration with the Africa Rice Center (AfricaRice), brought together ministers, policymakers, and leading agricultural experts from across Africa to discuss strategies for achieving rice self-sufficiency on the continent.

Hon. Danagundi, representing Nigeria’s private agricultural sector, joined delegates from eight African nations to explore innovative farming technologies, research partnerships, and sustainable policies that have enabled Egypt to make remarkable progress in rice production and food security.

He commended Egypt’s agricultural achievements and emphasized the importance of knowledge sharing and regional collaboration to empower Nigerian rice producers and reduce the nation’s dependence on imports.
