Recently, 3 of my sows miscarried, and 1 delivered only a few piglets. The root cause?

STRESS, caused by housing them together during mating due to lack of space.

💡 KEY LESSON:
Never house multiple sows together during and after mating.

Stress from fighting, crowding, or dominance behavior can lead to:
❌ Miscarriage
❌ Low litter size
❌ Wasted time and resources

✅ Always isolate sows during and after mating.
✅ Provide proper space and care.
✅ Prevention is cheaper than loss.

Plan ahead. Avoid stress. Save your litters.

Welcome to My Pig Farming Page. 🐷🌿

My name is Chief Ochube Jerome Godwin (JP), Chairman of Ai-Ochube Farms Nig. Ltd, Karu LGA, New Karu, Nasarawa State.

I am not a Vet. Doctor or a science expert, but I have been in the pig business for the past 2 years. I started this farm because of my love for agriculture.
