there's a huge difference between ventilation and cold in poultry house...

don't cover ur entire pen house for 24 hours in the name of too much cold or else u will lose ur birds,

again if u put charcoal to warm up ur birds remember to leave some of the cage or poultry farm open.

always ensure to leave a space where air can go in and out for easy breathing,

Lack of ventilation causes.....
high mortality
CRD (chronic respiratory disease)

remember COLD is not ventilation

🐔 If you don’t want stress in backyard poultry farming:

1. If you see something strange in your chickens (like not eating, not walking well, or being weak):
-Don’t wait!
-Quickly try to find out what’s wrong – it could be sickness, bad weather, or poor feeding.

2. Don’t wait for a disease to fully show:
-If one chicken is sick, others may already be infected.
-Isolate the sick one right away.
-Chicken diseases spread fast – you might lose all your birds and waste a lot of money trying to treat them.

3. Use natural remedies you trust (like garlic, aloe vera, or apple cider vinegar):
-Only use what you know is safe.
-Don’t overdose – it can harm the chickens.

4. Keep the chicken house clean:
-Clean the coop regularly.
-Make sure water and feed are not dirty or contaminated.

5. Know your chickens' normal behavior:
-When you understand how they usually act, it’s easier to spot when something is wrong.
-Chickens show sickness through their behavior — like being quiet, sitting alone, or not eating.
