Many people were surprised during my live chat on Friday when I mentioned that I once operated a POS business 😆.
What most people don't know is that I started on a large scale, with my first outlet strategically located around the University of Ibadan. Within less than a year, the business expanded to four active POS outlets.
At the peak of operations, our daily transaction volume averaged about ₦4 million across the outlets on weekdays. Weekends were even more impressive, with transaction volumes often doubling, especially at our Idi Ape and Ring Road locations.
The experience taught me valuable lessons about cash flow management, customer service, business expansion, and building a sustainable retail financial service operation.
Every successful entrepreneur has a story. The results people see today are usually built on years of hard work, learning, and taking calculated risks. 💃🏻✨
