“What if food wasn’t just about feeding families, but about fighting poverty, creating jobs, and empowering women and youths” even in the face of Nigeria’s toughest challenges?”
My name is Hamdallah Adeyemo, founder of Rafam Food Ventures, a NAFDAC certified maker of Kulikuli, Zobo, pap and others, born when I started fighting my six sons’ hospital visits with natural herbs instead of junk food.
Today we serve over 5,000 households across Lagos and Ogun State, priced 30% below market, and we’ve cut our customers’ hospital visits by 20%.
20 retail kiosks and 40 supermarkets stocking our products have grown their revenue by 40%.
Our five-year plan takes us from ₦48 million to ₦255 million by 2031 doubling to 60 retail partners and 10,000 households within 12 months, led by a team with 12 combined years in food processing.
We’re requesting ₦2,000,000 to install a solar power system to improve operational efficiency and reduce dependence on unstable electricity and cut overhead costs.
Rafam started with six boys. Now it’s feeding thousands and empowering youths. Thank you 'Biodun & Ibikunle Foundation for this great opportunity.
