17 SIGNS AND LANGUAGES OF RABBITS AND WHAT THEY MEAN
Rabbits speak with their bodies more than their voices. If you learn these signs, you’ll understand your rabbit like a true expert. Keep it simple, be gentle, and watch closely—your rabbit is always telling you something.
- 🟦 1. Binky (big jump and twist): Pure happiness. Your rabbit feels safe, excited, and full of energy.
- 🟦 2. Zoomies (fast running in circles): Playtime mood. They’re burning energy and want fun or space to explore.
- 🟦 3. Flop (falls on side): Deep relaxation. Your rabbit trusts you and feels completely safe.
- 🟦 4. Tooth purr (soft grinding): Comfort and pleasure. Usually happens during petting—keep going, gently.
- 🟦 5. Thumping (stomps back foot): Warning or fear. Something scared them. Check for loud sounds, smells, or strangers.
