*FOREWORD AND RECOMMENDATION*

All praise is due to Allah, the Exalted, the Most Merciful — the Creator of the heavens and the earth by His Absolute Power, and the Bestower of wisdom upon whomsoever He wills.

May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon the most merciful Messenger, Muhammad ﷺ, the leader of all the Prophets and Messengers, and upon his household, his progeny, all his noble Companions and all our chosen saints of Allah (RTA).

My beloved son, the author of this book, Founder and Director of *RAODOT EL-HAFEED ISLAMIC COLLEGE AND ORGANIZATION*, has graciously requested me to write a foreword to this book:

*_"ISLAM AND SUFISM: THE INTERCONNECTION OF SHARĪʿAH AND ḤAQĪQAH_*
*_Conceptualizing the Unity of Islamic Law and Spiritual Reality"_*

In this work, he has documented both the exoteric and esoteric aspects of our Deen. I consider this an uncommon favor from him, and I humbly beseech Allah to accept this effort from him.

The book addresses the ambiguity and widespread misunderstanding between Sharīʿah and Tasawwuf, and emphasizes the need for every true Muslim to uphold both aspects in accordance with the teachings of the Ahlus-Sunnah scholars.

The author has diligently used evidence from the Qur’an and the authentic sayings of the Prophet ﷺ to justify his points.

In light of the above, I most heartily recommend this book to all seekers of truth. I pray that Allah will bless the author in countless ways. *Ameen.*

ياخير عاطفتي أعقل حكايات #
قد طالما كنت في جو السماوات
أهلا بمولد من يحيي لنا الذاتي #
يا عيد ميلاد شيخ خير السعدات
هذا مربّي أبو التّبيان سيدنا #
محمد مصطفى كنز الهدايات
هذا مربي سقانا العلم من بده #
فالعلم يزكو به في كل ساعات
أحيا قلوبا بموعظة يفيض هدى #
حتى استنارت به من بعد ظلمات
في شهر فضل أتى ميلاد مرشدنا #
فازداد فضلا على كل الفضيلات
فانثر قريضي مديحا في مناقبه #
وانشر تحيات قلبي بالعبارات
يارب طول وبارك عمره أبدا #
وامنن عليه بعيش في المسرّات
واجعله ذخرا لنا في نائبة #
واحفظه يارب من كيد العداوات
يارب بارك له في عيد مولده #
واكثر على شيخنا بكلّ الخيرات
يارب بالمصطفى بلّغ مقاصده #
واصرف له عن الشيخ شرّا وآفات
واجعله يارب في حصن وعافية #
واغمر فؤاد أبي بكلّ الرحمات
واشرح له الصدر وارفع قدره أبدا #
واختم له العمر بالحسنى وطاعات
واجعل علوما له في الناس باقية #
تجري له الأجر في طول السناوات
وأدم عليه ثياب العزّ مكرمة #
واحفظ له عمره من كيد (بَنْدِيتِ) Bandit
وامنع فؤاد أني البيان من فزع #
واحفظه في كلّ أحوال وحالات
