AMLA POWDER (Indian gooseberry) AVAILABLE IN GREEN AND BROWN COLOUR.
Our Amla Powder is Edible as as for Hair
NOTE:
Edible Amla Powder: This is generally organic, food-grade, and often produced with stricter hygiene standards, ensuring it is safe to eat or drink it as well good for Hair and Skin.
Amla powder, derived from Indian gooseberry, is a potent Ayurvedic superfood rich in Vitamin C and antioxidants.
The difference in colour is due to process each pass through
Green Amla Powder: Produced via raw, organic processes, such as freeze-drying or natural dehydration in the shade. It is cold-ground, ensuring the powder stays cool throughout, which protects the nutrients.
Brown Amla Powder: Usually results from high-heat processing, sun-drying, or exposure to air (oxidation). This heat degrades the raw fruit's properties.
Green: Retains higher levels of chlorophyll, tannins, polyphenols, and Vitamin C. It is more potent, preserving the "raw" superfood properties.
Brown: Indicates that chlorophyll has been destroyed and Vitamin C has degraded due to heat or aging. While still nutritious, it is less potent than green powder.
