This Monday afternoon, I am choosing violence! 😂

Here are 5 things that genuinely confuse me as a baker:

1. People who don’t like cake.
Like, wdym? Cake is absolutely delicious and one of the best human inventions. Quote me!
2. People who argue that banana bread is cake.
Omooooo. It doesn’t taste like cake! And if the people who made it call it bread, why don’t you just sit down? 😂
3. People who don’t like sugar.
Sorry ooo, we bake with sugar over here. And no, I cannot substitute sugar with honey. Ko le werk.
4. People who don’t want to pick up their order but will gladly ask for free delivery.
Errm… inside this ₦10,000 order? Please be serious. 😭
5. People who always want bakers to undercharge.
Because apparently baking, decorating, packaging and all the work that goes into making a cake are “easy.” Please, miss my DM!

If you don’t fall into any of these categories, welcome to the sweet team! 😂

Over here, we make cakes and loaded banana bread in Magodo, Lagos, and you really should try us.

Now tell me: which one are you guilty of?

Finally posting the BTS of this wedding because baker, chief bridesmaid AND videographer all in one? Phew. What a task!

What really saved me was planning my days carefully and leaving very little to chance. From baking prep to baking, decorating, transportation and setting up the cake at the venue, everything had to be properly mapped out.

I had to be meticulous because there was absolutely no room for mistakes. Somehow, we pulled it off and I’m so happy I got to be part of this beautiful day in more ways than one.
