"Ronaldo, I Love You… I’m So Sorry” IShowSpeed Breaks Down With Heartfelt Message After Portugal’s World Cup Exit

Streamer *IShowSpeed* was overcome with emotion on his YouTube livestream Monday night after Portugal were knocked out of the 2026 FIFA World Cup by Spain — in what is set to be Cristiano Ronaldo’s final World Cup appearance.

As Ronaldo walked around AT&T Stadium following the 1-0 defeat, Speed fought back tears and addressed his idol directly on stream.

“Ronaldo, I love you. I’m so sorry that you lost the World Cup. I’m sorry. I was cheering for you. I wanted you to win. I genuinely wanted you to win, and I’m sorry to everybody who was cheering for Ronaldo.”

The 21-year-old admitted he had prayed for Portugal to win it all:

Cristiano changed the destiny of his country's football, turning World Cup qualification into a constant presence and bringing three trophies to Portugal.

Most of the things you didn’t learn in school VDM will teach you for free and in the process of learning you will still have the opportunity to educate others,and the sweetest part of VDM impacts is that even those that hâtè him also learn from him,he should be appreciated more than he is getting already because he is a necessity in our country
