"Daddy, why do you kiss aunty Vivian every night? I thought she died four months ago, " my daughter said to me, pointing towards a corner.

My daughter said this to me at exactly 12 midnight and I got scared because I have never done anything like that.

I held her mouth instantly so my wife wouldn't hear her talking about anything like that. I just quickly lied to her.

She looked at me with doubt, but I didn't want her to know what exactly I did to aunty Vivian before she passed away.

Aunty Vivian, was my wife's younger sister who came to stay with us when she got her admission into the university.

She was 19 years old, so pretty that no man could resist her. She was pretty to the point that I wished I had met her before her elder sister, my wife.

The whole thing started one afternoon when I was in the living room watching tv and Vivian came back from school and gave me a peck on the cheek.

Tell him this thing you keep saying — that you’re carrying something from a spiritual husband, or maybe it’s a spiritual boyfriend sef. I don’t even know when the spirit paid your bride price that you’re claiming such a thing.”

Meanwhile, Bongajum was still outside, standing patiently, expecting to see her since someone had told him she was around.

“Mama,” she whispered, her voice shaking, “I don’t know how to tell him. He will never believe me.”

I am a very quiet person who doesn’t like trøuble at all☹️ here is what happens today, Purity came back home very, very hungry. The school said we should be giving our children small portions of food, and that is exactly what I’ve been doing.

Opening my daughter’s lunch bag after school today, I was not happy at all and I don’t want to keep reporting every time, but this is becoming too much. The other day, her water bottle of 5k got broken in school and I didn’t say anything. Sometimes they don’t even touch my baby’s food, talk less of feeding her. She’ll only eat the snacks, and when she comes back home I end up trashing the food untouched.

But seeing this and my baby coming home extremely hungry—is the height of it. What is all this nau😩😔

I know that if I report to the school management, she will take action, but I don’t want anyone looking at my baby with bhad eyes, especially considering what happened during Henrietta’s time.

Please, how do I handle this amicably? I am honestly àngry right now and I don’t want to do anything out of angér. They have about three nannies in Purity’s class, so I don’t understand why these things keep happening. 😠
