I went to illorin yesterday and I can't but marvel at how nice it is. It is just like being back home in Owerri in several ways. Compared to Offa where I stay.

I have been putting off my trip waiting for when my role model Nelly Agbogu will host her trade fair there so it will be like killing two birds with one stone.

I'm not unhappy I went there. I'm really thinking if how to get Mamaa's healthy treats zobo to Illorin.

I'm at my friend's school for their school's cultural day celebration.

My friend is complaining to me that she 'suffered' to arrange the students for some activities and after everything she was sidelined by the staff during the main event.

During the event she kept quiet throughout even when there were some mistakes she didn't correct them. After a while some of the staff called her out and asked he r to please assist them.

My question is this, since they knew that she was the one handling the activities from the beginning why didn't the just allow her to continue. Why come and impose themselves after she had fine through the stress from the beginningm

The first time I started a physical food business was when I ran a barbecue joint.

I co - owned the joint with someone and as first timers we didn't really know what to do with the business. The business ram into losses and we started pointing fingers.

After a while we had a falling out and I left the business. Everyone around me was surprised that I stopped because I was so ecstatic about the business. If you knew me then, you would know my barbecue joint. I marketed life into the business.

When I left the business I didn't have the nerve to tell people that I had stopped, especially because the business was still growing. It was less than three months from when we started it.

I hid it from them, until I could no longer hide it and I told everyone I had stopped. That was one pressure off my chest. The next was how to get back with my friend whom I had the falling out with. For months I was faced with guilt, knowing that I had left him alone to incur all. The losses from the business and also the way I left was very messy.

Fast forward few months later and I went and apologized to him. Unfortunately, he had closed down the business. My guilt conscience tripled, I have finally made him close down the business.

Well, you won't believe my joy when he called me out of the blue to tell me he was going back to the business, this time with better knowledge and experience.

For 3 years in a row something has consistently happened to me at the beginning of the year.

Early in the year I always have money issues with people.

The first time it happened, I sold some wristwatches and jewelries to a customer and she didn't pay me. Till date she hasn't paid me and I've lost her contact.

The second time it happened, I wasn't paid for a job I did. I kept calling my boss but his response was the company didn't release money for the job.

The last time it happened I rendered a service to someone and the person didn't pay me. She kept giving excuses and excuses until I got tired.

The funny part is that the product, the job and the service were al done around November and December but the payment issues usually start in January.

One thing I learnt from cooking with charcoals, is this.

When you want to light your charcoal fire, you have to first arrange the charcoals. It doesn't matter if you are in a rush, or you feel too lazy to arrange it. I

If you don't do it properly you will end up doing it over and over again till you give it the base it needs to light up.

You have to arrange the charcoals in the coal pot before using.

Most times we do things haphazardly, while expecting the best results from it. Just like the charcoals on the coal pot, to get the best fire or best results, you need to prep from the basics.

Something that seems insignificant but in actual truth is the most important step.

There's this my neighbor that always leaves her granddaughter with us. The first day she left her daughter with us, she didn't bring a change of clothes with her. The girl totally destroyed our house, from the living room to our room, she defecated everywhere.

We didn't think much of it, maybe her grandma forgot to give us the change of clothes. Second day she did the same thing defecating everywhere, the third when she wanted to leave the girl with us again we made our excuses and she took her along with her.

She travelled a few months ago, and just got back. Today she left her granddaughter with my neighbor without leaving a change of clothes and pampers, I tried to warn her about it but decided to hold myself because maybe, just maybe the girl had learnt potty training.

After two hours, my neighbor came out screaming that the girl had soiled her bed, I couldn't hold myself. I burst into laughter, old habits die slow I guess.

Moral of the story, I no even sabi .

Let me take you to the year 2020, correct me if I'm wrong. Our very own social media doctor Aproko Doctor was screaming about the dangers of carbonated drinks, how harmful it is to the body.
