To everyone who is waiting, hoping, and holding onto the dream of holding your own child: your wait is a testament to the depth of your love and the strength of your heart.
Give yourself grace. The emotional rollercoaster of hoping every month, dealing with quiet disappointments, and managing the well-meaning but painful questions of others is exhausting. It is okay to feel tired, sad, or overwhelmed.
Your worth is not defined by this struggle. You are whole, you are capable, and you are deeply valuable, exactly as you are right now. This delay does not diminish your capacity to love or your worthiness to be a parent.
Protect your peace. It is okay to step back from baby showers, mute certain social media accounts, or take a break from conversations that drain you. Guarding your emotional well-being is an act of self-care, not selfishness.
Hold onto hope, but take it one day at a time. The journey to parenthood looks different for everyone, and the road can be incredibly winding. Remember that a delayed miracle is not a denied miracle.
Be gentle with yourself today. Your heart is incredibly resilient, and your story is still being written. Please don't lose hope.
