WHAT SHALL WE THEN SAY?
This very batch of pepper got the least of my attention and care, yet has produced the best results so far in the history of my cultivation experience!
Share luck? Grace? Mercy? I can't state which one exactly.
To be very honest, I haven't taken care of them as expected. I would score myself maybe 1.5/10 on this particular cultivation. For some reason unexplainable, I lost interest in them right from their nursery stage. In fact, I and my men reluctantly transplanted them when they were due. That's how much I lost enthusiasm in them. I've only checked in on them twice since transplant. But from what I can see already, the result has dwarfed all my previous put together. Meanwhile, the water melons that I invested all of myself into haven't really impressed me that much. They're doing well, don't get me wrong, but deep down in me, I know they could do better.
There's just this part of farming that keeps beating logic no matter how hard you try to explain it. The harder you try, the more it defies reasoning.
Because if you ask me to explain this one now, nothing convincing will come out of my mouth. This is the gospel truth.
Shall we then conclude that sometimes, "...it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth..." -Rom 9: 16(KJV)
