Weekly Review Meeting: A Recap of Key Events and Decisions
On the 3rd of September, we held our highly anticipated weekly review meeting, bringing together every sector of the organization—from internal teams to external consultants and contractors. The meeting was not only a reflection on recent performance but also a time to address critical issues and celebrate notable achievements.
One of the key moments of the meeting occurred when our Managing Director (MD) delivered a passionate address, expressing his dissatisfaction with the farm consultants. His message was crystal clear: the lack of commitment and poor performance from the group had become a significant concern. He didn't mince words, firmly calling out the need for improved accountability and results. The tone, though stern, was aimed at revitalizing their dedication to the company's objectives. It was a call to action, a reminder that every stakeholder, regardless of their role, must maintain the standards that have made this organization successful.
At the same time, the MD also took a moment to acknowledge the resourcefulness and team spirit that he initially saw in our workforce. While there were areas needing improvement, he made it clear that our collective effort was still one of the company's strengths. His words were a mix of tough love and motivation, intended to push the team forward and inspire us to maintain our standard of excellence.
Another major highlight of the meeting was the promotion ofour General Manager, Sir. Mcdonald Anayo Osuji (KSJI, F**A)to the Board of Directors. This well-deserved advancement was in recognition of his unwavering commitment, resilience, and leadership throughout his tenure. His contribution has been pivotal to many of our recent successes, and this promotion not only celebrates his personal achievement but also signifies the company's continued trust in his vision and dedication to the team.
The meeting also saw the return of a familiar face to the fold—Estate Security Chief, ND. ND’s remarkable re-entry into site activities was warmly welcomed, as his presence has always been associated with professionalism and reliability. His expertise in security operations is invaluable, especially during a time when maintaining strict security measures is crucial for the company’s growth and stability. His return signifies a renewed focus on ensuring that all aspects of our estate management, particularly safety, are held to the highest standard.
