Good morning Family and Happy New Month. Welcome to September, our Month of the Supernatural. Jn 3:1-8, 13, Mark 16:17-20, Is 8:18

The supernatural is the realm of life that is beyond, over and above the natural. The Believer was recreated and called to live from this supernatural realm or plane and to superimpose it's realities on the natural realm.

The Believer is not supposed to live a mere natural life but a supernatural life because he has a supernatural life and he has been elevated to the supernatural realm.

This month, we will be learning about the applicable laws and kingdom principles that can be engaged to operate and to manifest the supernatural from day to day.

Let's pay attention and decide to practice what we will be learning, this is the key that will move us from natural living to supernatural living.

The Believer's Authority (6)

And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him,

Master, carest thou not that we perish? And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful?

How is it that ye have no faith? And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?
Mark 4:37-41 KJV

We have been exploring the jurisdiction of the Believer's Authority. We have seen that the Believer has authority over the devil, sickness and disease and substances that are toxic in nature like poison and venom.

So, it stands to reason to say that Satan, sickness, disease, poison and venom from serpents or scorpions have no power over the Believer because Jesus has given him authority over all these things. Hallelujah!

God expects us to reign over them and not to be afraid of them. You can claim your immunity over them in the Name of Jesus and they will have no power to harm you. Let's start using our authority over them.

The next thing that the Believer was given authority over is nature. The authority of the Believer is actually the authority of Jesus Christ delegated to the Believer. So, let's find out what Jesus' authority covered

Once we get to know what Jesus was able to do with his authority, then we can tell or discern what we can do with the Believer's authority. We know that Jesus exercised authority over nature and it obeyed Him.

Therefore, Jesus' authority covers nature which means that the Believer's authority which is the authority of Jesus delegated to the Believer covers nature. The Believer now has authority over nature like Jesus

Our opening scripture shows us how he was asleep in a ship one day and there was a serious storm on the sea. So, his disciples woke him and asked him to do something about the storm. I like this.

Jesus woke up and spoke to the storm and the Bible says, the storm calmed down. The disciples were shocked and they said what manner of man is this that even the winds and the waves obey him.

Well, Jesus was exercising His authority over nature and He has given or delegated the same authority to us today. Believers everywhere have authority over nature in the Name of Jesus. This is absolutely true

Jesus spoke to a fig tree one day and it obeyed him because he was exercising this same authority. This authority is now yours, what have you done with it? Are you still calling on God to come to your aid?

Or are you exercising your authority over nature. Now you can speak to the wind, to the waves, to the sun, to the moon, to the rain, to trees and to animals and they will all obey you. It is the Believer's authority.

You have authority over nature. When it is going contrary to you, then you exercise your authority over it and it will obey you exactly the way it did Jesus. Jesus was not afraid when he was in that storm.

He knew that he had authority over it and when he used his authority, he saw results. The reason many Believers are scared of such things is because they don't know that they have authority over all of nature

Then some who know about it are yet to believe, hence they get scared and even when they use the authority, they use it in fear and this robs them of their outcomes or results. Now, use your authority in faith. Blessings!

The Believer's Authority (4)

And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
Matthew 10:1 KJV

No matter how strong, armed or equipped you are, you cannot go beyond your level of authority. Your authority decides the limit or extent to which you can go. You cannot go beyond your limits of authority

Your authority defines the boundaries of your operations. It dictates the perimeter of your influence. Therefore, you need to grasp an understanding of how authority works and how to use or exercise it well.

The Believer's authority is the authority of Jesus Christ delegated to the Believer. This authority is wrapped up in the Name of Jesus and everytime we use the Name of Jesus, we are exercising our authority

We need to also understand those things that are under our authority so that we can know the things to exercise our authority over. Yesterday, we saw that the devils are under our authority. This is very important

The next thing that is under the authority of the Believer is sickness and disease. I know that there are people who have been called and specially anointed to minister to the sick but that's a different ball game.

Every Believer has been given authority over every sickness and every disease. The Bible says these signs shall follow them that believe, not the apostles but them that believe. Please tell me, are you a Believer?

If you are a Believer, then some signs are supposed to follow you. One of the signs is that in the Name of Jesus, which is the seal of the Believer's authority, you will lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.

If through the laying on of your hands in the Name of Jesus, the sick recovers and are healed, what does that tell you? It tells you that the Name of Jesus carries power over every sickness, disease and infirmity

Therefore your authority covers sickness and disease. If sickness and disease gets healed as you lay hands in the Name of Jesus, it therefore means that you have authority over all sickness and disease.

Our opening scripture says when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

You can see that he gave them power or authority against unclean spirits, to cast them out and then to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. It doesn't matter what the name is called.

As long as it's a sickness or disease, the Believer has authority over it in the Name of Jesus Christ. If you have anyone around you being challenged with a health issue, use your authority in the Name of Jesus.

If you are the one having the health issue, wrap your hands around yourself and use the Name of Jesus. Command that issue or condition to go in the Name of Jesus and it will obey you. There are no options.

The Believer's authority works everytime if it is properly used or exercised. The day the disciples failed to get a result when they used their authority, Jesus was not happy with them. He was so displeased.

He didn't say sometimes it works and then sometimes it doesn't. It was designed to work everytime. As you use your authority over sickness, disease and infirmity, stand your ground in faith until it obeys and goes

No sickness and disease can come upon you and destroy your life if you don't allow it. The Believer is not like the unbeliever, the Believer has authority to either allow or disallow sickness in his life or in his body

When you just watch and complain about it, you are allowing it. When you do nothing about it, you are allowing it but you can lay hands and command it to go in the Name of Jesus and then start taking faith steps

This is how to use your authority and soon enough that sickness will give way. Jesus has given us authority over all manner of sickness and disease, it doesn't matter it's name. What we do with it is now up to us.

I want to challenge you to begin to use the authority instead of acting helpless in the face of sickness and disease. Refuse to allow sickness and disease to reign in your life and family. You have the authority! Blessings!
