You’re missing out if you’re not eating Akara the right way
Akara is not just breakfast, it’s a rich meal.
Golden, crispy on the outside, soft, fluffy, on the inside. That first bite? Pure comfort.
Good Akara is not about just blending beans and frying.
Let’s make some
Ingredients
1. 1 cup of beans
2. 5 peppers
3. 3 tatashe
4. 1 medium bulb of onion
5. 1 stock cub
6. 2 tables spoon on crawfish
Procedure
1. Wash and peel the skin off the beans
2. Put beans, washed peppers, onions and stock cube in a blender, add 1/4 cup of water and blend until smooth.
3. Pour into a bowl and whisk
4. Heat a lot of oil in a pan on medium heat
5. Using an eating spoon, scoop battle into the oil
6. Flip to the other side when brown
7. Use a frying spoon and pack the fried Akara into a sieve.
Enjoy!
👉 The whisking stage after blending. That’s where the magic happens.
Akara is simple, but not basic.
Once you get it right, it’s something you can make for breakfast on weekends often.
Save this so the next time you make Akara, you actually get it right.
