I stepped into a shop today to buy a few things and noticed the woman had all four of her children with her. Holidays have really turned many children into full-time shop assistants.😄

After I paid, she gave my change to her little girl to hand over to me. As I collected it, the little girl smiled and said, "Thank you, mummy. Please come again next time." 🥹❤️

That simple statement melted my heart. I immediately told her, "I will definitely come back, and I'll even tell my neighbors to come and patronize your mummy." The mother couldn't help but burst into laughter.

Years ago, Winnie Leo-Obitte introduced me to the snack business. She taught me how to source products like coated peanuts, kpomo, and other fast-moving items from producers, package them, and sell to customers.

She was my coach, mentor, and one of the people who always believed in me. She is also the founder of She inspires business

At the time, I wasn't naturally business-minded because I had been encouraged to focus on school and getting a good job. So I combined paid employment with the business, supplying shops and supermarkets whenever I could.
