Let me tell you a short story about this waybill I sent to Enugu. 😂

A few days ago, one of my customers ordered 2 litres of palm oil. She's in Owerri and asked me to send it through Transit Favour

I was like, “Ah! Transit Favo? These people charge high o.” 😌😌😌

She said I should bargain for ₦2,500 for the waybill. The problem was that their office is very far from where I stay.

Transportation from my place to that place alone was about ₦800.

I said okay, no problem. Let me go.

When I got there, the courier manager told me to pay ₦4,000.

I was like, “Oga, ₦4,000 from Port Harcourt to Owerri? Abeg, I no fit do this one o.” 😌😌😌

I told him, “See, na my customer ask me to use Transit Favour. Normally, na Peace Mass I dey use. If not for my customer, I no for come here.”

I told him if he couldn't collect ₦2,500, I would take my package and go.

After some back and forth, he finally agreed to ₦2,500. I gave him the package and left. ✅✅

As I was leaving, I told him, “Abeg, I no go come back here again. You no go see me here again.” 😂

Fast-forward to yesterday.

Another customer ordered from me and also said she wanted me to use Transit Favour. 🙆‍♀️🙆‍♀️🙆‍♀️🙆‍♀️

I was like, “Ah-ah! These people again?” 😂

This time, I budgeted ₦3,000. My customer had ₦2, 500 so I said okay, let me add ₦500 and send it through them. ✅✅

Immediately I got there, the same guy saw me and started laughing.

“See! You say you no go come here again. Why you dey here now?” 🤣🤣

I just laughed and said, “Oga, abeg. How much to Enugu?”

He said, “₦4,000.”

I said, “Which one be ₦4,000 again? If you no go collect ₦3,000, I no dey do.” ❌❌❌

I picked up the package and said, “Oga, abeg, make I dey go.”

Immediately he saw me leaving:

“Come back, come back! Make I pack am for you. Na wa for you!” 😂

I told him, “Oga, I no dey like stress. If not my customer, I no go come here. My customer say make I use this one.”

Honestly, their service is okay, but the price is a little higher than what I normally pay. And their office is also quite far from me.

With Peace Mass, I can practically trek to their office. 😂

But you see customers? They will tell you exactly what they want, and sometimes you just have to adjust because you want to make things easier for them. ✅✅✅

So now I want to ask other business owners:

Do you allow your customers to choose the courier service they want, or do you use a courier service of your choice?
