stepping into a bigger stage

WHEN THE DAY IS OVER

My good people of Aboh Mbaise and Ngor Okpala,

As this Sunday comes to an end and we prepare to rest, it is worth pausing to reflect on the week that lies behind us and the one that awaits us.

Scripture reminds us:

“Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant.”
Matthew 20:26

These words remind me that true leadership is ultimately about service. It is about carrying responsibility with humility, listening to others, and remembering that every opportunity to lead is a trust from God.

As I reflect on Olileanya Anyi, Our Collective Aspiration, I am reminded that the future we desire for our communities must be built on service, accountability, unity and a genuine concern for one another.

Tonight, may we surrender our worries to God and ask Him for wisdom for the days ahead. May His Word continue to guide our hearts and give us the courage to do His will.

May God grant peace to our homes, protect our families, bless the work of our hands, and guide us safely into a new week.

Happy father's day to you all.

Today, I celebrate all fathers across Aboh Mbaise and Ngor Okpala whose sacrifices, strength, and unwavering commitment continue to hold families and communities together.

As a son, I understand the value of a father's guidance, wisdom, and example. The lessons of responsibility, hard work, integrity, and compassion that fathers pass on to their children often become the foundation upon which lives are built.

As a father, I know that fatherhood is more than a title. It is a daily commitment to provide, protect, nurture, and inspire. It is the willingness to put the needs of others before your own and to work tirelessly for the wellbeing of your family.

Today, I join family, friends, political associates, and countless admirers in celebrating a distinguished leader, an accomplished statesman, and a committed servant of the people.

This special day offers an opportunity to reflect on a life dedicated to public service, political leadership, and the advancement of the people. Over the years, Senator Anyanwu has demonstrated remarkable courage, resilience, and commitment in the pursuit of causes that promote the welfare of our people and the growth of our democracy.

As one privileged to work closely with him, I have witnessed firsthand his passion for service, his accessibility to the people, and his unwavering belief that leadership must always be driven by compassion, loyalty, and responsibility. His journey continues to inspire many young leaders who look to his example as proof that dedication and perseverance remain essential virtues in public life.
