STOP CHASING THE WRONG KIND OF CUSTOMER

Some customers have a habit of paying only when they need to collect new stock.

Sales people, be careful! ⚠️

A customer buying regularly does NOT automatically mean the customer is financially healthy for your business.

Before giving more goods on credit, ask yourself:

👉 How long has this customer owed me?
👉 Does the customer pay according to the agreed date?
👉 How much money is currently tied up with this customer?
👉 Am I making profit, or am I simply moving stock and waiting for my money?
👉 What happens if I supply again and the customer delays payment?

💡 THE RULE:

Don't allow a customer's next order to become their payment plan.

Set clear credit limits.
Set payment dates.
Follow up professionally.
Record every transaction.
And when necessary, stop additional credit until the outstanding balance is settled.
