Someone sent me a message this morning,she said

Mama, I sell peanuts, plantain chips, and chin-chin, but they are not always moving. I don’t sell the ₦100 size because if I do, I won’t make any gain. Right now, I’m at home, I don't do anything, and my husband is complaining.

So I asked her a simple question,

Are you a baker?

She said yes

I asked again,

Do you know how to make buns?

She said yes

Do you know how to make puff-puff?

She said yes

I asked her again

This saying reminds me of a supermarket I’m currently supplying my products to, ChoiceChops peanuts, chinchin, and plantain chips.
For months, I found it difficult to walk into that supermarket and introduce my products, I was shy, I was so scared of rejection.
But one day, I asked myself “What is the worst that could happen?”
They say NO,
And even at that, life goes on.
So I made up my mind to move,

Getting clients is NOT all about how many followers you have on social media YES, I'm the one saying it

You can have 500 followers and still be fully booked,

You can have 50k followers and still struggle to make sales.

Followers are good don't misunderstand me but followers do not automatically equal clients.
Stop bothering yourself over numbers,

Stop believing your business is failing simply because your followers are “small”

Many people are winning with low engagement, low followers, but real paying customers,

The earlier you understand this, the better for you.

Focus on building a business people can trust not just a page people can scroll past.

God when for you that hardly posts your work online?
God when for you that deletes your posts because of low engagement?
God when for you that gives up after one bad week?

Meanwhile, the person you’re comparing yourself to has been in the industry for 5–10 years.
They have cried,
