How to overcome fear of death

One day a young man asked his Master, "I fear death. How can I get rid of this fear?"

"Tell me," the old man answered, "When you borrow a few coins, are you afraid to give them later back?"

"Of course not," the student answered with surprise, "but what does this have to do with my fear?"

The teacher picked up a small piece of soil from the ground and continued, "You have received your body in debt with required return. And every bite of bread eaten by you, every sip of water drank by you increases that debt. You are made from dust on which you walk and the ground is your main creditor, constantly reminding you of this debt. It is pulling you down towards it. In the end, the ground will swallow you whole, without any remains."

The old man threw the soil into the air, after attaining its fall, he finished, "No matter how high you rise, how long you are in the flight, you will still need to fall down. That is given. And to cope with the fear of this fall is very easy – stop thinking about yourself as the master of your body. Face the thought that you are just a tenant. And because you don’t know the length of your rent, remember that it can end at any second. We are all debtors, and our debts will certainly be recovered, no matter if we are afraid of it or not. So is there a point of being afraid?"

Once in a town lived a rich man. He had very successful business. He met a man who used to visit to his shop daily. With time they became friends.

One day rich man had to go out of town with his family. He was worried about his money kept in house.

He talked to this about his family, They suggested him that he should ask his friend for help.

Rich man thought that his friend stay with him most of time but still he never got any chance to test his friends loyalty and didn’t knew if he should trust him with his life’s earning.

Still rich man called his friend and told him about his problem and then went inside to bring keys of his locker in which he used to keep his money and gave him keys of his locker and left with his family.

After few days, rich man returned to his town. Next day he informed his friend about his return in town and invited him to his house.

As soon as friend entered his house, he started shouting, "Didn’t you trusted me? Why had you put rocks in your locker?? And if you hadn’t put money there then why did you gave me key of that locker?"

Everyone at home was shocked to hear what his friend said. Rich man smiled and said, "But how do you know what was inside that locker? You must have opened that locker in my absence."

Friend kept silent. Rich man continued, "I had kept those rocks inside that locker because i wanted to test your friendship.."

Saying this Rich man asked him to leave and never to meet him again. Friend left his house in shame.

Moral:
Always think Twice before T

rusting Someone. It’s good to make Friends but One should not Just Blindly Trust Someone.

BE WISE

Once there were four friends who used to live in a village. Among those friends three were learned and had studied many scriptures where as fourth one was unlearned and didn’t have any knowledge of scriptures but he was wise one.

One day they all decided to go to city to look for jobs for them. On decided day they all come prepared.

They started their long journey. On their they had to pass through a forest. Their in forest on their way they saw some bones.

On examining they came to conclusion that it was bones of lion. Just then three friends who were learned started to boost about their powers.

One of then said that he can recreate lions skeleton to it’s original form. Other said he can add flesh to it and then third one said that he can make it alive again.

Listening to all this fourth friend said them not to try anything with that and warned them of their consequences.

But those three foolish friends didn’t listen to him and shut him and ignored his suggestion thinking that he didn’t know anything and is just jealous of their knowledge.

First friend used his mantra’s on those bone and soon they were changed to original form.

Then second friend used his mantra’s on those reformed bones and added flesh to those bone.

Just before third friend was going to use mantra. Forth friend tried to stop him but he also wanted to show his learning’s power and refused to listen to him.

Fourth friend climbed a tree before third friend proceeded with his plans. As soon as lion come to life, it killed all three learned friends and left.

Moral:
One should not get Egoist about his Learning and Should listen to other’s Suggestion. Ego and Over confidence doesn’t let us to think Clearly which leads to Disastrous situation. It is Better to be Practical and wise than Learned.

POWER OF THOUGHTS

One man was travelling and suddenly he got to the paradise.

He sat down under the desire tree (there is such tree in the paradise, sitting under which you can immediately fulfil any your desire, you just need to think about it) and thought: "I am hungry, so it would be nice to have a bite right now." And when he just thought about this, a table full of different dishes that he was thinking about appeared right before him.

Wow! – The man was surprised, – but it can’t be! – He thought so, and the table with dishes disappeared immediately. "It would be nice to get it back!" – And dishes appeared again.

He ate a plenty of dishes – he has never eaten such tasty food before. After satisfying hunger he thought: it would be nice to drink something – and a perfect wine appeared immediately, because there are no restrictions in the paradise.

Lying in the shadow of the tree and drinking wine, he started wondering: Why these miracles do happen? It just can’t be that everything would be so good – probably some ghosts played a joke on me.

Suddenly the ghosts appeared. They were terrible and looked like he imagined them.

The man became scared and thought: now they will kill me!

And they killed him.

Everyone lives in the world that he deserves.

NAILS IN THE FENCE

A long time ago there was a boy. He was smart, talented and handsome. However, he was very selfish and his temper was so difficult, that nobody wanted to be friends with him. Often he got angry and said various hurtful things to people around him.

The boy's parents very concerned about his bad temper. They considered what they could do and one day the father had an idea. He called his son and gave him a hammer and a bag of nails. The father said: "Every time you get angry, take a nail and drive into that old fence as hard as you can."

The fence was very tough and the hammer was heavy, nevertheless the boy was so furious that during the very first day he has driven 37 nails.

Day after day, week after week, the number of nails was gradually decreasing. After some time, the boy started to understand that holding his temper is easier than driving nails into the fence.

One day the boy didn't need hammer and nails anymore as he learned to hold his temper perfectly. So he came to his father and told about his achievement. "Now every time, when you hold your temper all day long, pull out one nail".

Much time has passed. At last the boy could be proud of himself as all the nails were gone. When he came to his father and told about this, he offered to come and take a careful look at the fence. "You did a good job, my son, but pay your attention to the holes that left from the nails. The fence will never be the same. The same happens when your say hurtful things to people, as your words leave scars in their hearts like those holes in the fence. Remember, we need to treat everyone with love and respect, because it doesn't matter, that you say you are sorry, the scars will not disappear.

REACH GOALS

One day a son came to his father for an advice:

– Dad, I can’t do this anymore, – he said, – those lessons only exhaust me, and the result doesn’t change. It must be not destined for me to play football and my dream will never come true.

The father looked at his son with loving eyes and said:

– You know son, every person in life has a dream, a goal of his life. They are the ones that make us do what we are doing, because it’s what we should do. We have to fight for what we believe in, what we feel. In other case, you will simply brake. Once – and for all.

The easiest way is to quit everything and not go until the end, because the path is difficult and we are not used to inconveniences. We want everything to be easy and at once. But the wishes are fleeting! This is how our dream dies, and the goal becomes unreachable.

Gradually, life becomes a routine without depth and meaning. Then one day, we try to forget and start everything from the beginning, we wait for a new day to make our life different. But new obstacles come in our way, and we stop again. We become full of despair and anger for our own helplessness.

But you only need to remember one thing: never give up, fight, battle. It doesn’t matter that you have lost one battle and even dozens of battles. Life goes on! Your biggest enemies are hiding in you – laziness, fear, doubt, indecision. Be a warrior of your dream, a knight of your goal and a soldier of your wishes

LETTING GO

Once there was a free bird. She floated in the sky, catching midges for lunch, swam in the summer rain trickles, and was like many other birds.

But she had a habit: every time some event occurred in her life, whether good or bad, the bird picked up a stone from the ground. Every day she sorted out her stones, laughed remembering joyful events, and cried remembering the sad ones.

A bird always took the stones with her, whether she was flying in the sky or walking on the earth, she never forgot about them. The years have passed, and free bird got a lot of stones, but she still kept on sorting them, remembering the past. It was becoming more and more difficult to fly, and one day a bird was unable to do this.

The bird that was free some time ago, could not walk on the earth, she was unable to make a move by her own. She could not catch midges anymore; only rare rain gave her the necessary moisture. But a bird bravely endured all the hardships, guarding her precious memories.

After some time a bird died of the starvation and thirst. And only a pitiful bunch of worthless stones reminded of her for a long time.
