​Timeline: Hits gradually and usually starts getting better within 7 to 10 days.

​Symptoms: Clear or mildly cloudy mucus, scratchy throat, low-grade (or no) fever, and mild body aches.

​🦠 Bacterial Infection (The Unwelcome Guest)
​Timeline: Lingers past 10–14 days with zero improvement, or hits you with a "double sickening" (you start getting better, then suddenly crash and feel much worse).

​Symptoms: High fever, severe facial pain/sinus pressure, and thick green or yellow discharge that persists.
