When we got to the first house we rented immediately we arrived at Lagos
I noticed all the women in the house wake up get their kids ready for school and come back home to start cooking then when the kids are done with school they go back there and pick them up
Like it continues just like that
It got to a point that I wanted to be asking them if they work online or they are content creators or some kind of people who work online and won’t need to appear at their places of work
But these women don’t even own android phones talk more of laptops
I was kinda bothered but I kept it within myself
After spending 3months in the house
One of them came to meet me and asked why I always leave early and come home late
I told her I work in the bakery
And bakery work won’t allow me to come home early because at that time my generator wasn’t picking my mixer so I was depending only on Nepa Light
When there’s no Light I won’t work
Once there’s light i work till am done because the next time is not guaranteed that there will be light(story of a small business owner)
As my kids are going to school
I follow them and from their to the bakery
I pick up my kids from school
We all go back to the bakery
They assist me in the bakery and I add it them with their homework’s too
One of My neighbors came to meet me one day
She said i should leave hustling for my husband alone
She continued to say,”allow your husband to do hustling while you sit at home and focus on your children”
I asked her,”apart from your husband’s money do you have access to anyother Monie as support Incase your husband’s money didn’t come as expected “?
She replied,”Yes”
Then i continued to ask
From Where?
She replied,”my Dad has houses in Lagos Islandd and i receive house rent of 3bedroom flat apartment every year”.
Hmmm
So you see our stories are different!!!
I don’t come from a wealthy family
My own case is different
If I stop working i stop earning i stop eating
So I hustle
I hustle as if I am broke
I am going to hustle, earn this success,soon!!!
