Delegates of the Western Zone of the Ijaw National Congress (INC) have expressed strong confidence in the candidature of High Chief MacDonald Igbadiwei following his recent consultation visit to Warri.
During the engagement, stakeholders and delegates commended Igbadiwei’s leadership qualities, experience, and unwavering commitment to the unity and progress of the Ijaw nation. They noted that his vision aligns with the aspirations of the people and assured him of their support in the forthcoming INC elections.
Speaking on behalf of the zone, Barr. Priye Noel Kuete, Chairman of the INC Western Zone, who welcomed High Chief MacDonald Igbadiwei and his delegation to Warri highlighted the importance of credible and result-oriented leadership, emphasizing that Igbadiwei possesses the capacity to reposition the Ijaw National Congress and effectively address the challenges facing the Ijaw people.
In his response, Igbadiwei appreciated the warm reception and reaffirmed his dedication to inclusive leadership, justice, and the advancement of the INC. He stressed the need for collective effort in building a stronger and more united Ijaw nation.
The visit forms part of his ongoing nationwide consultations aimed at engaging delegates and consolidating support ahead of the elections.
