Twan de Bie, managing director at Vitelco Leather, gave a presentation on the traceability of our calfskin products at Lineapelle in Milan.

Lineapelle is one of the most important international exhibitions for the leather industry, where more than 1200 exhibitors and over 20,000 visitors are very interested in traceability.

Montreal, Canada - As part of the Trusted Veal campaign, we invited many chefs and restaurant owners to our presentation on Dutch veal.
Of course they also got to taste it. The served French Rack was a big hit! #trusted veal

After Germany, we will now also market Vitel-oké in France. Time for a new photo shoot. In addition to beautiful atmospheric images of the Vitel-oké products, we also took some cool BBQ images. Very pleased with the result!

Last week the prizewinners of the American "Starchefs contest" paid a study visit to the Netherlands. The Starchefs competition is part of the EU’s Trusted Veal campaign.

The program also included a tour of Vitelco Leather, our tannery in Lichtenvoorde. It was a unique experience for our guests to see with their own eyes how calf leather is made.

As part of the 'Trusted Veal from Europe' campaign, the COV (Central Organization for the Meat Sector), launched a Chef's Contest in Japan last year. Chefs from all over Japan have submitted veal recipes. Six chefs were invited to the finale on 28 November 2018. The prize was a study trip to the Netherlands.

The two winners, Chef Takuma Hayashi and Chef Yaguchi Mitsumasa, visited Vitelco today! They visited our distribution center, got a tour through our deboning hall and our tannery. A fun and educational day!
