Also this year we will revisit Priorat in March.
Every time we return it feels like a warm bath 🤗

We will this year be with sommeliers and chefs to let them discover this beautiful region with lovely people, food, nature and of course wine.

We also return every year to restaurant La Cooperativa in Porrera. Such a lovely place in the center of the town.

A couple of years ago we tasted the wines on the Picture.

Terra del Priorat is a young family project led by Pepe Beltrán and Dolors Sendra, where we give continuity and life to a tradition of more than 6 generations in the Priorat. Its history goes back to 1800 where the first stone was laid of what is now the family hotel El Palauet del Priorat, founded in 2016, run by Dolors Sendra as the sixth heiress of the estate.

Pepe Beltrán decided to reverse his business life as a wine merchant and return to his Valencian family's agricultural tradition, taking the reins of restoring and operating the family fields that were abandoned in 1976 due to the depreciation of crops on the market.

At the moment they are building their own winery. Pictures are made at a temporary winery in Poboleda

Silvia Puig is a celebrated winemaker based in Priorat, Catalonia (Spain) — specifically in Gratallops, after starting her project in a small garage in nearby Poboleda.

She is the driving force behind En NĂşmeros Vermells, her artisan winery founded in 2008, where she produces very limited-quantity, handcrafted wines with meticulous attention to detail.

Silvia works alongside her husband, Belgian chef Pieter Truyts, whose restaurant sits in the heart of Poboleda — a partnership that blends winemaking and gastronomy in the Priorat community.

Her wines reflect both innovation and terroir, including:

• En Números Vermells Classic — a signature red blend of Grenache (Garnatxa) and Syrah with Carignan, expressing freshness and structure.

• Etiqueta Negra (Black Label) — a red focused on Priorat’s traditional varieties.

• Aiaiai — a lively, expressive red named for the joyful exclamation it inspires.

• Cabernet Franc — a very limited production varietal highlighting her experimental side.

Silvia sources old vines from small vineyards around Priorat, making wines by hand with small batches to preserve purity and expression of place.

Usatges 2003!!!

The power of aging đź«¶đź«¶

This Usatges Blancfrom winery Clos de L'Obac (Costers del Siurana) is made from the proportion of grapes not needed to make the top white wine Kyrie.

An aging of about 6 months follows on stainless steel. The blend consists of 60% Macabeu, 20% Xarel.lo, 15% Moscatel de Alejandria and 5% White Grenache.

We tasted several and we know what it can do. Did you ever try?

✨ From Priorat’s steep slate hills, Terroir al Límit crafts wines of elegance and purity. Founded in 2001 by Eben Sadie & Dominik Huber, the estate farms old-vine Garnacha & Carinyena organically, with a Burgundian touch: whole-cluster fermentation, no oak, minimal intervention.
