🍇 From grapes to w**e – let the magic begin! 🫧
While Austria's vineyards are getting quieter after harvest, things are still bubbling away in the cellars! 🍷
W**emakers are busy guiding alcoholic fermentation: tiny yeasts turn natural grape sugars into alcohol and CO₂. And those bubbles in the fermentation airlock? That's CO₂ escaping!
From monitoring temperatures to checking how the w**es develop, there's plenty of expertise behind the process.
And a little Austrian side note: Ever tried Sturm? This seasonal specialty is partially fermented grape must – cloudy, fruity, slightly fizzy and still actively fermenting!
