Kompanen! Jullie mening maakt Thuishaven beter 🍻

Je komt bij ons voor een goed bier, lekker eten of een middag op het terras. Wij willen ervoor zorgen dat je volgende bezoek nóg beter wordt.

Daar hebben we jouw hulp bij nodig.🍻

We zijn altijd bezig om Thuishaven nóg leuker te maken. Nieuwe bieren, lekker eten, evenementen, service... Maar uiteindelijk draait het om één ding: wat jij ervan vindt.

Daarom hebben we een korte enquête gemaakt. Het invullen duurt maar 3 tot 5 minuten, maar jouw antwoorden helpen ons om betere keuzes te maken voor de toekomst van Thuishaven.

Feeling the heat? Take a dip on our terrace, or drag it over to the waterfront and use it as your own luxury canal cruiser. Captain's hat optional. We've already tested it extensively. Mainly by making our colleagues float around in it instead of doing any actual work.

🍺 EVER WONDER WHERE ALL THIS MADNESS HAPPENS?

Behind every fresh IPA, every barrel-aged beast and every questionable beer name is a brewery full of stainless steel, hop dust, forklifts, hoses that somehow always end up in the wrong place, and a group of brewers trying to convince everyone that this batch is definitely the best one yet.

Now's your chance to have a look for yourself.

Join one of our brewery tours and we'll show you where the beer is brewed, how it gets from tank to glass, and why there's always at least one brewer covered in malt dust. You'll hear the stories, learn how we brew our beers and, of course, enjoy a guided tasting along the way.

⚔️ Two breweries. One showdown.

When it comes to brewing beers that step just outside the beaten path, Baxbier feels like a natural ally. The Groningen brewery has built its reputation on bold recipes, unexpected ingredients and a healthy dose of curiosity. Exactly the kind of brewery we love sharing a brewhouse with.

The result is Sansho Showdown.

A crisp, refreshing Saison inspired by Japan, where the star of the beer is sansho. Despite the name, sansho isn't actually a pepper but the dried berry of a Japanese citrus tree. Instead of heat, it brings vibrant notes of yuzu, grapefruit and fresh herbs, finished with a subtle tingling sensation that makes every sip just a little more intriguing.

Together with fragrant lemon verbena and the floral, citrus-forward character of Hallertau Mittelfrüh and Motueka, it creates a beer that's elegant, refreshing and unlike anything else we've brewed this year.

This isn't a beer that shouts. It's one that keeps pulling you back for another sip.
