🌱 The biggest stage. 🌱
A year ago, we made a commitment to bring good tempeh to Norway. We could not be more grateful for the incredible support at 2026, our very first time showing our product to the public!
Thank you, tusen takk, terima kasih! ✊

PS: The last slide was us at the Oslo Vegetarfestival 2025 when we brought just 8 samples. We faced 20+ rejections and only one person took a sample 🥲

🌱 the heritage 🌱

The first time tempeh ever appeared in Western literature was in 1875, in a Javanese-Dutch dictionary describing this fermented soybean cake. But by Indonesians had already been making and eating it for generations.

Affordable bean.
Abundant sustainable natural packaging.
Slow fermentation.

In villages across Java, soybeans were boiled, mixed with a little starter from nature, then wrapped in banana or teak leaves and left to rest.

Tempeh is naturally rich in plant protein, fiber, iron, calcium, and vitamin B. The fermentation also makes the nutrients easier to digest and creates beneficial compounds for gut health.

From the Global South now made in Norway.

🌱 Good tempeh starts with good soybeans 🌱

Our soybeans are non-GMO and sourced from the EU, helping reduce transportation emissions while supporting more sustainable farming.

Did you know?
CO₂ emissions per 100g tempeh:
• American soybean: 45 g
• EU soybean: 27 g
• American beef:2,717 g

We also make sure our tempeh is halal and kosher certified, because good food should be for everyone.
