Akash- Ganga Agricultural Co-operative Ltd was established in 16th September 2011 (2068 Bhadra 30th) by following the norms, values and principles of the international co-operative. The consumption of chemical fertilizer and pesticide used products by Nepalese consumers has been a major concern on the Nepalese health. Aakash Ganga Co-operative Ltd has therefore been promoting the production and c

onsumption of chemical free products in Nepalese society. Furthermore, Aakash Ganga has also been promoting rooftop gardening by keeping a safe environment in mind. It has also been marketing the organic products manufactured by the members. It has been providing necessity finance to members in a minimum interest rate in agricultural production and animal husbandry like pig, cow, poultry farming etc.

Handcrafted with skill and care by the talented women members of our cooperative, Silam Sakma (सिलामसाक्मा) is more than an ornament—it is a sacred cultural and spiritual symbol of Yakthung (Limbu) culture, identity, and protection.

It is traditionally worn on the chest, displayed at homes/offices, and used in rituals conducted by Limbu priests (Phedangma).
