Opawa Homestead Opawa Homestead is the oldest remaining homestead in the Mackenzie District.

It is steeped in early South Canterbury and New Zealand history and makes a wonderful backdrop for your event, wedding or just time away with someone special!

On a brisk clear Mackenzie morning, Ingrid from Gisborne is off South - loves her biking, she's done the trail like, 4 times!! Loves the countryside views & taking her time to enjoy them in the cooler months.

Shout out to Birch from Methven, who stayed the night before & headed off over the Pass, way too early for this photographer & for Nym to!!! 🐕
