After an amazing trip to Melbourne earlier this year, I was inspired by what appeared to be trending there, a sense of nostalgia, to things we used to love. And that sense of old school simplicity, is very important to me and how I run my business.

One of those things I noticed while there, that was absolutely everywhere in gift stores, home stores, was Archivist Matches. A now global brand. The most beautiful letter pressed match boxes. LARGE.

They are long and come in so many different kinds of boxes. They are individual pieces of art on their own, traditionally letter pressed pieces of art.

So its incredibly exciting to have managed to bring the first lot into the country. To see how they go here! They make beautiful mantle piece or coffee table editions, they are the most perfect gift.

And I will hopefully (all going well) be bringing way more variations as we go.

There are 125 long matches in each box.

So the first lot of Archivist match designs are due to arrive in a few weeks onto my online shop. I will let you know when they have launched.

SUGARCANE NODES - COLLECTING FINAL ORDERS

Collecting up final orders for a big send out of Sugarcane nodes as now is planting time if you'd like to try and grow your own sugarcane!

This variety grows well in the BOP. Makes a lovely lower windbreak, tropical, great on banks. Lovely and sweet when mature. The perfect height for privacy fencing as well.

Plenty of uses.

I send out chunks of Sugarcane nodes, a few nodes on each piece so you can choose to cut up and grow multiple plants, or lay a trench to have multiple offshoots in a line.

Wright Road Farm is getting a new name!

After almost 10 years of boxing up Avos, and growing my little business to include all sorts of goodies, its time for a new name.

Something that encompasses, the wildness of the business, the fact that I literally go bush to get your orders sometimes! that I now bring in other niche products too, and a name that gives me room to grow and sell other things.

it will be Wright Road Farm website for a little bit more.

Its still me, Rochelle, with a few more greys, out picking and packing. With the help of my pre teen, teen and hubby in busy periods.
