Carnivores Candy Shop

30/08/2026

Good afternoon!
We hope your weekend is going awesome, the days are certainly warming up.
An update from Carnivores Candy Shop. 🥩
Approximately 6 months ago the clumsy butcher did himself a bit of a major mischief 🙄
After 6 months the injury hasn’t improved so it is off to surgery & and a further 6 months recovery.
So as a result the business will be hibernating a bit longer. Not ideal… But! Every downside must have an upside so what would you, our loyal customers want to see from us upon our relaunch?
-Maybe an online store to deal directly with your local butcher, personalising, cuts, flavours, portion sizes and products to truly customise your purchases ?.
- Maybe a free district wide weekly delivery service ?.
- Maybe more bulk mixed product meat box’s?

Please reach out with any suggestions by sending us a DM

Last chance to purchase our carnivore candy Ashburton Farmers Market this morning!

13/02/2026

Carnivores will be trading at the Ashburton Farmers Market tomorrow for the second to last time. Next Saturday 21st will be our last trading day at the market due to a very combative Ashburton council and a lack of confidence in our long term future at the market under the current structure. We have put a lot of energy and expense into building Carnivores and we appreciate all of our amazing customers many of whom has become friends.
We will hibernate for a while while we explore options that allow the business to continue to grow both locally and in nearby districts. We intend to build a trading relationship with other Ashburton business owners where the butchery could compliment their existing offerings and some joint marketing & growth opportunities, any ideas?

Some of our deals this week are.......
-Whole sticks of salami @$20 each
-Whole rolls of proper ham & chicken luncheon @17.50 each
-Mutton ham pieces @$22.50kg
-Marinated BBQ Steak @$23.99kg
-Wagyu beef schnitzel @$24.99kg
-Beef Thors hammer @$16.99kg
-Bacon bones @$6.99kg
