Thank you everyone for your patience, understanding, kind thoughts and offers of support 🥰
This past 6 weeks has been one of the toughest times I've had, as my independence was stripped leaving me in limbo with everything ive worked so hard to create in my business.
After crawling under a rock the last 3 weeks, ive come back out to see the light and we are having some positive conversations about how we can reopen our serving window for you all, to kick off 2026!🎆🎉
It could look a little different for a while as my injury is far from healed but we hope to bring you some amazing goodies both roadside and at the beach and still stand strong in using the best ingredients in our coffees with our amazing local partner products. 🍦☕️🥤

Hey Pōrangahau,

Our cart has made it out to the Pōrangahau Country Club to service the golfers and anyone in the public looking for delicious refreshments this Saturday morning. We are here till 1pm for the annual Christmas Cheer golf tournament TODAY and my amazing friend Nicole whos an epic barista is on the coffee machine for me whilst im injured.

Well, im really looking forward to finding my young healthy self again really soon!! 🤞💪🤸‍♀️

I was not expecting to see these guys and take my first Ambo ride to ED on Friday evening, but the universe has spoken loud and clear and wants me to stop for some reason 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Very sorry to all the people attending the Flemington Mud Run tomorrow that were looking forward to seeing us there and to the organisers that have put in so much effort organizing it all to have us have to pull out last minute 😢.

If I could manage the pain I would be there tomorrow but this last accident has taken out the other side of my body that was working.

Il be back soon. But for now, my bed is the only thing seeing me on Sunday 😅

Bummer. My ultrasound has shown that I have a full thickness tear in this tendon in my Rotator Cuff.
This injury has meant I cannot lift my upper arm forwards or sideways. I still cannot do quite a few of the tasks that are required with my roadside work in the cart without pain and risking making my injury worse. 😫

The Dr has given me another 2 weeks off before reassessment and im booked in with the physio, so im still hopeful for lots of improvement in that time and a return to full operation in the near future.

So.. no roadside operation for me until i get the go ahead from the Dr.

Booked weekend events are still in the calendar as I have the help from family and friends thats needed to be able to run the cart.

Hey guys. Ive made this reel with music and little pictures, giving you and update on where we are at with our cart operation.... but.... it doesn't want to upload🙄😅.

So the crux of it is that yesterdays ultrasound showed i have a few tears in my right Rotator Cuff, Thankfully not a surgery job but I still have limited movement and recovery is SLLLLOOOOWWW.

SO for the rest of the week I will only be bringing Wilder Side Coffee & Eats out to the weekend events in Waipukurau where I will have my right hand lady helping me with everything I cant do. (No roadside operation this week)

I hope you are missing me and our products as much as I miss serving you all and hope to see you all really soon. 🤞💪🥰

Well it seems that its just not my week this week unfortunately. Ive been in pain all night with my right arm as i seemed to pull a muscle or something 😩 im still struggling to move it despite pain killers on board for the last few hours.
I def wont be out first thing today and will keep the page updated if I come up with a solution as i have lots of delicious milk and made some ambrosia pots for the cold cabinet too 🤤🤞

Wow, what an event. Thank you CHB and 42 MANA for the awesome invitation and support today at your first birthday competition!

This one was another great learning experience for me as we served up a wide range of food and drink options (maybe too many 😅) and operated on 2 hrs sleep after a wild night of food prep and cart/car packing for our trip into Waipukurau.

Thank you to everyone that rung in orders and then we're patient with us as we prepped your order. This was a first for us and definitely helped me to have enough Kai.

A huge thankyou to my friend Lilia who took over drink maker and transaction processor after very minimal training and absolutely ACED it. Some amazing feedback about her today! Lilia and I both agreed that everyone was so kind, Patient and supportive and we enjoyed the vibes!!

And.... to my amazing family, Danny and Arlo who gave up their home job day and came to cook up those delicious fries so we could keep on top of things. What would I do without you two 🥰

Anyway, This is the only pic I got today... me sitting in the car, too tired to drive home 😅

So if anyone has any photos, feedback or criticism from today's event, we would love to see and hear it!! Dont be shy, we are still learning and growing.

Cart unpacking is reserved for tomorrow and im couch bound for the rest of the night 🤣
