Poly Bites is a proudly Pacific-owned New Zealand business passionate about sharing delicious, culturally inspired snacks with communities across Aotearoa. Our signature products include Green Banana Chips and Pink Taro Chips, made from quality ingredients that celebrate our Pacific heritage.

- FreshChoice Merivale
- FreshChoice Picton
- Nelson Rabbit Co Café
- The Riverside Pantry, Christchurch
As we continue to grow, we're looking for enthusiastic and reliable Market Brand Ambassadors to become the face of Poly Bites in their local communities.
About the Role
You'll represent Poly Bites at farmers' markets, community events, festivals, and promotional events within your local region. Your role is to create an inviting stall, engage with customers, educate them about our products, and drive sales while delivering outstanding customer service.
We're currently recruiting representatives in:
- Auckland
- Wellington
- Nelson
-Picton
- Blenheim
- Palmerston North
You will only be responsible for attending markets and events within your own region. For example, Auckland-based ambassadors will work at Auckland markets and events only.
Your Responsibilities
As a Market Brand Ambassador, you will:
- Set up and pack down the Poly Bites market stall.
- Display products professionally and maintain an attractive stall presentation.
- Welcome customers and provide exceptional customer service.
- Share the Poly Bites story and educate customers about our products and ingredients.
- Promote and sell our Green Banana Chips and Pink Taro Chips.
- Process EFTPOS and cash sales accurately.
- Keep track of stock throughout the day.
- Pack up products and equipment at the end of each market or event.
- Represent the Poly Bites brand in a professional and positive manner.
What Poly Bites Provides
We'll provide everything you need to represent our brand, including:
- Full product and sales training
- Products to sell
- Branded banners and signage
- Brochures and promotional material
- EFTPOS machine
- Ongoing support from our team
What You'll Need
Because you'll be independently managing our market stall, you'll need:
- Your own 3m x 3m white gazebo (market tent)
- Your own trestle table 2.5m atleast or 2 small trestel table
- Reliable transport capable of carrying your gazebo, table, and stock
- A current driver's licence (preferred)
- Confidence speaking with people from all backgrounds
- A friendly, outgoing personality
- Strong customer service skills
- Reliability and punctuality
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to lift and transport market equipment and stock
An understanding or appreciation of Pacific cultures and foods is highly desirable. While previous sales experience is an advantage, it's not essential—we'll provide full training to ensure you're confident representing Poly Bites.
Hours: Early morning starts - vary depending on the markets from 6:30am to 12pm or 2pm Saturdays and Sundays.

- Additional shifts available throughout the year as required
