Get into this one !!

Once again I find the year slipping away far too quickly.

You last heard from us in May, when Paul Ngamanu was crowned NZ Homebrewing Champion at the Autumn invitational for his German Pilsner.

In case you missed it, we’ve announced the dates for this year's AHBC, which will be held on the 20th/21st September, right here in Palmerston North.

We will be updating the website shortly with the new competition info at: https://ahbc.brewingeducation.nz/

Right now it’s still showing the 2024 AHBC results, so if you want to have a look at last year, you better get in quick! Once they are gone, they're gone to make room for 2025!

What is everyone brewing the upcoming Autumn Invitational?

Remember final Entries must be received by 18th April so just another 12 days to get the into us to be into win the $1000 Voucher, and be named this years NZ Homebrewing Champion!

What is the Autumn Invitational you say?

The AI (Not affiliated with Skynet) was bought about as a way to test proven Homebrewers, across multiple competitions, and put them against each other in an ultimate showdown.

If a brewer won a 1st, 2nd or 3rd in either the 2024 AHBC or the 2024 NZ Brewers Cup they have received an Invite to enter 1 single beer to try take out this prestigious competition.

All entry fees are covered by the organiser's, with a sole sponsor to provide the swag, fitting that of a Champion.

This year we are stoked to have Grainfather onboard for the 2nd time running.

So if you haven't already, shake a leg and get those entries in!

As part of the NZ Brewers Cup this year, we wanted to thank our volunteers.

So we had these great Bar blades made to say a big thanks to everyone who helped us out. Your assistance doesn’t go unnoticed.

Fun fact, have a few spares as well - so these will be put into a few random medal winners post packs.

We should have medals by the end of the week so we’ll start getting prize packs, medals and spot prizes out when they arrive (I’ll post a cheeky pic don’t worry).
