Disc Coulters. What are they, and what do they do?
Mounted at the front of the seed drill, these spring-loaded discs slice through surface trash before the tines follow, reducing buildup and keeping seed depth consistent. Not all tine drills come fitted with them, so it's an important thing to consider when choosing your machine.
