In the Pizza Garden this Labour weekend!

We've been busy experimenting with some new ideas, and this weekend we're adding something a little different to the menu.

Meet the Foldies!

Our wood-fired pizza dough, folded and filled.

Three to choose from:

Köfte – Spiced beef, crunchy slaw, yoghurt and rocket pesto

Mortadella – Mortadella, stracciatella, rocket pesto and chilli oil

Egg Salad – Creamy egg, red onion, capers and microgreens

They're generously filled, ridiculously good, and made to eat with your hands. Perfect for taking to the beach, the falls, on the way home or just finding a sunny spot here in the garden

The wood-fired pizzas are still on the menu, of course!

As are the garlic knots after their debut this weekend.

For something sweet, we're making butterscotch pudding

Live music Sunday We'll have Grace Francois joining us in the garden from 12:30–2:30pm. 🎶

On the menu at the Pizza Garden this weekend...

Seasonal veg pizza... Asparagus, feta and rocket pesto

Dessert... Apple crumble pizza, served warm with ice cream

And something new... We're giving our garlic knots a run this weekend too. Little knots of our pizza dough, baked in the wood-fired oven and finished with garlic butter

Plus all our usual favourites, of course

What are the rows of plants for ?

That's a question we get asked alot

Long before the Pizza Garden opened, we had been busy planting flowers and foliage around the property

Most of what we grow is sold wholesale to florists, and some of it ends up here at the Pizza Garden as little fresh bunches for the weekend.

We also dry some for arrangements too.

The idea was always to make more of the land and work on things we enjoy. The pizzas may be the main attraction, but the flowers and foliage are part of the story too.

So next time you're here take a look and if a bunch takes your fancy, make someone happy, even if it's yourself 😊

Our smoked pork belly pizza.

It starts with a good piece of pork belly from the lovely folk at

Then we cook it slow in the wood fired oven, coated with Dijon and a spice rub

From there it finds its way onto a pizza with apple, Dijon ricotta, pickled fennel and a few finishing touches from the garden

Quite a bit of work for one pizza, perhaps. But we wouldn't have it any other way.

We started Fridays last week with a smaller menu, but have decided to offer the whole lot now

So from this week, our full Pizza Garden menu will be available on Fridays too

Come out for an early dinner in the garden, or grab a pizza to take home

You can also order online (on our google page) if you'd like your pizzas ready to collect

We’ve been wondering what Fridays should look like around here for a while.

Turns out the answer might be pretty simple.

Pizza.

From this Friday, we’re opening the oven from 3–7pm with a small Friday night menu:

Margherita
Pepperoni
Smoked pork belly & caramelised pineapple
BBQ steak

Grab a table in the garden with a b**r or glass of w**e, or pick up a pizza to take home.

Online ordering available

No bookings. Just come on out.
