📣 Floating Peaks is becoming Good Flock

A little name change, a fresh look but the same love for wool, sustainability, planting, growing and Hawke's Bay farming.

After a lot of planning and working behind the scenes, I'm really excited to introduce Good Flock - a new chapter for what was Floating Peaks.

We're officially Good Flock everywhere, apart from Instagram (we're kindly waiting for our preferred handle to become available again...) and have some stock ready for our new website and for the Grow Wonder Market on 12th September

Floating Peaks has officially been sold 💚

What started as Hayden’s little idea around our kitchen table turned into something that completely changed our lives. We’ve had the privilege of working with incredible customers, businesses, schools, councils and farmers all over New Zealand, and we’ve made friendships and memories that we’ll carry forever.

To every single person who bought a product, shared a post, recommended us to someone else, stopped for a yarn at a market, or simply believed in what we were trying to do… thank you!!

Its crazy to say our loud but without Floating Peaks I don’t think we would have had the confidence to back ourselves to embark life in a caravan, farm contracting with our two girls. We genuinely don’t even have a real plan but we just know what happens when you put yourself in a position to be lucky…

We will always treasure your support and we know the new owners will to. It may be a new face but the heart behind it remains the same. We know they’ll do an incredible job, and we’d love to see them receive the same support you’ve shown us over the past few years.

After all, as our chapter closes, theirs is just beginning..

Last chance before we shut shop! With the farm we lease now sold for pine trees, our wool journey has come to an end. This means no farm, no flock, no wool of our own to craft with. Using our own wool has always been the pinnacle of our business.

We’ve loved sharing a piece of Central Hawke’s Bay with you through every wool pot and gift box, and we can’t thank you enough for supporting this homegrown dream.

This isn’t a forever goodbye — just a pause.
But for now, everything must go. Our closing down sale is officially live... Garb a bargain, or maybe a new business?
