Like all good things I didn’t know how to start a business and it worked out so why not apply that same principle to selling a business?

Last chance before we shut shop! With the farm we lease now sold for pine trees, our wool journey has come to an end. This means no farm, no flock, no wool of our own to craft with. Using our own wool has always been the pinnacle of our business.

We’ve loved sharing a piece of Central Hawke’s Bay with you through every wool pot and gift box, and we can’t thank you enough for supporting this homegrown dream.

This isn’t a forever goodbye — just a pause.
But for now, everything must go. Our closing down sale is officially live... Garb a bargain, or maybe a new business?

For some people business highlights could be reaching financial milestones, X amount of customers or sales targets… For me it’s relationships, partnerships and opportunities.

I’ve been in the Army, trained as a Paramedic, worked on the farm, started a small business and yet one of the best jobs I have had, is being a High School teacher. I froth it. I wear many hats at school but stoked and privileged to be able to combine all of my experience and create a new class this year - even better I was able to use my small business to sponsor the girls shirts.

Proud as punch.

(P.S. No one prepares you for when you run a low key business but a video goes viral enough all your students find you and you become exposed… 😅😂)
