Here’s some of my recent photography for your eye balls and soul. If you can, try to swipe slower than normal, there’s hours of work here…

With our accommodation now ready I’m considering running forest photo workshops. Let me know if anyone might be keen for something like that??

BTW - I asked AI how to intro this post:

There’s a moment right before I press the shutter where everything goes quiet. No overthinking, no chasing the “perfect” shot — just me, the light, and whatever’s in front of me asking to be seen.

That’s what photography gives me. Not just pictures, but a reason to slow down and actually pay attention to the world instead of rushing past it. Every frame is me saying: this mattered, this was worth noticing.

That’s the art. That’s the purpose. One breath, one frame at a time. 📷

🤮 sorry, that’s trash with only whispers of truth!
I don’t talk like that, and if I start please send help, or come visit and see for yourself!

✨ I’m a little bit obsessed with the night sky at the moment. Every clear night, you’ll find me wrapped up in blankets out on deck gazing in wonder at what is out there. ✨ At first glance it’s a fixed painting, but then there is a flash over there, a shooting star over there, a satellite whizzing past, and then those moments of ‘did I really just see that’? ✨ I love the sense of perspective, the expansiveness, and the feelings of limitlessness that the night sky brings. ✨It’s a great reminder of our inner power - our inner self reflected in nature. 🖤 My invitation to you is to head outside on the next clear night and see what is there waiting for you to observe - let me know how it goes 🖤🙏✨

Randomly, decided to make me a quick video about Tithonia (Mexican Sunflower) so I thought I would pop it up here. This plant is an important support species in our food forest which we use for shade and for chop’n’drop to help feed the soil. Not everyone loves this plant, but for our context (heavy, compacted, clay soils) it works really well. It is easy to propagate via cuttings and it’s sterile so won’t self-seed everywhere. The flowers smell amazing and the bees love it 🌼
