Morning Mangawhai! 👋🍿

With the rain and wind doing their thing today, we’ve made the call not to trade at the Mangawhai Tavern Market this morning. 🌧️💨

And, as if the weather wasn’t enough… our gazebo has also apparently grown legs, put on its running shoes and wandered off. 🐒😂

So while we’re tucked up somewhere dry today, we’d love you to keep an eye out for our very large, very black, very obviously branded 3 Monkeys gazebo.

We’ve shared the full story below — please give it a share and help our runaway find its way home. 👀

🚨 MISSING: ONE VERY SUBTLE GAZEBO 🚨

Well, this is awkward.

It appears our 3 Monkeys gazebo has grown legs and wandered off. 🐒🐒🐒

We can only assume it was tired of spending its weekends sheltering kettle corn and decided it deserved a new life.

Unfortunately, it forgot to tell us.

Our gazebo is:
🔸 Big
🔸 Branded 3 Monkeys
🔸 Quite difficult to disguise
🔸 And, last we checked, completely incapable of walking by itself.

So unless it has developed both legs AND a rebellious streak, someone has helped themselves to it.

Which is a bold choice, really.

Because what exactly is the long-term plan here? 😂

Take it camping?

Put it up at the beach and hope nobody notices the enormous 3 MONKEYS branding?

Start a rival popcorn empire?

We’re a small local family business, and replacing commercial gazebos isn’t exactly the sort of exciting business expense we had pencilled in this month.

So we’d LOVE your help getting our wandering gazebo home.

✨ Winter might be keeping the big crowds tucked up at home… but we’ll still be popping! 🍿❤️

It’s the quietest time of the year here in beautiful Mangawhai, which means tomorrow’s Mangawhai Tavern Market might be a little smaller… but that’s all the more reason to come and support our awesome local stallholders.

We’ll be there from the crack of morning, hand-popping our award-winning Sweet & Salty Kettle Corn fresh on site (because the best popcorn is the kind that’s still warm! 😍).

☀️ Well… THAT turned around nicely! 😍

The skies have cleared, the wind has finally taken the hint, and Mangawhai will be absolutely showing off today. 💙

If you’re in town for the weekend (or escaping the house before the school holiday chaos officially begins 😅), swing by the Mangawhai Tavern Market.
