Bonjour! We also cater for private events. A bientot! At Excuse My French, the crepe makers, we create fresh sweet and savoury crepes to order while you wait.

For over 20 years we have been delighting clients with our authentic French sweet and savoury crepes served from our mobile food trailer at markets and events around Wellington and Wairarapa. We have been bringing a little bit of France to New Zealand since 2002 and you will find us at a number of markets, fairs and private functions around the Wellington region, including:

* On Thursdays at the

Thursday Night Food Truck Market (Masterton Town Hall square), and
* On Sundays at the Harbourside Market (next to Te Papa in Wellington). As well as weekly specials, our menu (ranging from $5-10) includes:

Sweet crepes – sugar, lemon and sugar, Nutella, Belgian chocolate, cinnamon and sugar, lemon curd, Anathoth raspberry jam, honey, maple syrup, caramel, crepe suzette (flambéed), Grand Marnier, strawberry coulis, toasted almonds, toasted coconut, banana and freshly whipped cream. Savoury crepes – ham, cheese, and Excuse My French’s own tomato provencal (tomatoes, garlic, onions and fresh herbs reduced down into a rich, tasty tomato sauce), or a combination of any of these. We are pleased to provide an EFT-PoS facility for customers including PayWave and credit (small surcharge applies).

You can get your crepey fix tomorrow at Gather ... every week there are new and exciting things starting to happen so if you haven't been to the Solway market for a while - keep an eye on this space ...

If we don't see you Saturday in the Wairarapa, we will be back at our usual spot at Harbourside in Welly on Sunday!

🍒 Gather Wairarapa on Saturday 9-1 in the stunning location that is the Solway Showgrounds here in Masterton. Formerly the Wairarapa Farmers' Market there's a gang of brains and energy behind a whole new market experience (and growing!). We're giving it a go and we invite you to try it out as well!

🍒 Harbourside Market in Welly on Sunday from approx 7:30 until noonish. Don't rush it .. come and linger a bit after you feel grabbed your weekly supplies ... amazing food trucks and stalls, buskers, coffee, you name it, Harbourside has it.

🍒 Gather Wairarapa this Saturday. Formerly the Wairarapa Farmers' market at the Solway Showgrounds, the entire market has been shoozed up with a team of energetic peeps with great ideas behind it! We're giving it a go so we invite you to give it a go too - shop local, enjoy community, have some fun!

🍒 Harbourside Market this Sunday from approx 7:30am until noonish. Harbourside has a very clever market manager and this has to be THE best outdoor market in NZ! Fresh produce, foodies heaven, awesome buskers, and so much more including young guns award winning Conscious Valley butchery (see Hamish for meat thats hard to beat).

We had the honor of a visit by two of New Zealands favorite ladies at our trailer a few years back - they're famous for all the right reasons and really good people. It was much sadness that we learned of Jool Topp's passing today .. a wonderful gal who will be very sadly missed 😞😞

Bonjour little lovers of all things crepey!

Here's where your crepey-fix is at this week:

🍒 Thursday Night Food Trucks 4:30-7pm outside the Masterton Club Chapel St (SH2) Masterton Central

🍒 Friday Night Food Trucks Pahiatua 4:30-7pm corner of Main and Tararua Streets in Pahiatua (this week we have EIGHT trucks to pick from!), and

🍒 Harbourside Market on Sunday from approx 7:30am til noonish. Harbourside has to be NZ's BEST outdoor market with amazing fresh produce, food trucks and stalls galore and some pretty cool buskers to boot. Make Sunday the first day of your week by starting it well.
